Commissioner Louise Arbour, former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, recently gave a keynote address at a gathering titled, “Charting the Future of Drug Policy in Canada,” held in Toronto last month. The conference was convened by the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network, the Canadian Drug Policy Coalition and the International Centre for Science in Drug Policy.
